It is the fourth year of sponsoring the “Spectrum Project – Taiwan Colleges and Universities Charity Sightseeing Camp” proposal contest. It is co-sponsored by EVERRICH Duty Free Shop in collaboration with the Chiang Education Foundation. With the purpose of encouraging students at colleges and universities to engage in charity works by applying their studies and creativity, it aims to promote their interest in and understanding of the tourism industry. Integrating a proposal contest and care for rural areas, it was a summer camp planned and executed by a selected university student team for junior high school students in “Not Mountain. Not City.” This year, it collaborated with Social Enterprise Insights to hold a presentation on forums, with professional tutors to share their experiences. The members of the EVERRICH volunteer team transformed into tutors to help college students accomplish their creative proposals. It cultivated their capabilities in planning and oral presentation so that they could prepare to enter the job market in advance. In the camp, diverse courses were offered. Participants learned as well as enjoyed themselves in the courses. Experiencing local features, they were educated to promote tourism, oriented with international protocol, taught to make-up properly, learned Japanese, and more. In this year, they held the closing ceremony in Kaohsiung International Airport and Taichung International Airport. At the same time, the students took the opportunity to visit these airports. It brought them unforgettable memories and plenty of insights, expanding their visions successfully.
