2026.08.16 - 2026.08.16

Behind the warm smiles that welcome travellers at Taiwan’s gateway every day is a workplace that has earned international recognition for three consecutive years. HR Asia, one of Asia’s leading human resources publications, has announced its 2026 award winners. EVERRICH Duty Free has been named a “HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia” for the third consecutive year, while also receiving the “HR Asia Sustainable Workplace Awards” for the second time. The recognition highlights EVERRICH’s long-standing commitment to talent development and sustainability, further demonstrating its role as a benchmark in the travel retail industry.
The “HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia” is one of the most prominent recognitions in the human resources field across Asia. In this year’s assessment, EVERRICH scored significantly above the market average across all evaluation categories. Key areas including teamwork, mutual trust, open culture, and organisational engagement all received recognition rates of over 92%, with teamwork reaching an impressive 95%.
In employee feedback, colleagues also shared heartfelt reflections on Chairman Simon Chiang, noting that he leads by example and integrates care for employees and respect for diversity into the company’s operations. Initiatives include complimentary employee shuttle services, psychological counselling and health seminars, as well as the employment of more than 100 colleagues with disabilities and from indigenous communities, fostering a friendly and inclusive workplace. EVERRICH also promotes work-life balance through more than 20 diverse employee clubs across Taiwan and provides scholarships for employees’ children, extending its care beyond the workplace to employees’ families.

EVERRICH has long been committed to talent development. In addition to providing comprehensive professional training and encouraging colleagues to continuously learn and grow, the company also takes employees directly to production sites and facilitates exchanges with local brands. These experiences enable colleagues to gain a deeper understanding of the culture and stories behind the products, empowering every EVERRICH colleague to become a window through which travellers from around the world can discover the people, culture and spirit of Taiwan.

In addition, EVERRICH continues to strengthen its sustainability practices by integrating environmental management and social responsibility into its business operations. This year, the company once again received the “Sustainable Workplace Awards”, with its “Sustainable Workplace Environment” indicator scoring close to the maximum of five points, reflecting a high level of recognition among employees.
EVERRICH has completed ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventories for its duty-free stores at Taoyuan International Airport and obtained formal certification from international third-party verification body BSI. The company has also independently completed carbon inventories across 13 locations throughout Taiwan. In terms of community engagement, EVERRICH promotes an employee-wide volunteer culture and organised 587 volunteer activities last year, with more than 10,000 instances of employee participation. For two consecutive years, EVERRICH has also launched its Local Revitalisation Programme, supporting high-quality local green brands in Taiwan and leveraging airports as a gateway to showcase Taiwan to the world.
As the travel retail industry continues to evolve, EVERRICH General Manager Kevin Chiang said that every colleague is an essential partner to the company and a key force in creating memorable experiences for travellers on the frontline of Taiwan’s gateway.
EVERRICH will continue moving forward alongside its employees, deepening its commitment to talent development and sustainable workplace initiatives. By enabling every colleague to realise their strengths, develop professionally and create value, EVERRICH aims to deliver travel retail experiences that are not only professional, but also warmer and more meaningful for travellers.
