EVERRICH has long been dedicated to promoting Taiwanese artists, aiming to give more people the opportunity to experience and appreciate Taiwan’s rich artistic creations while elevating the international visibility of Taiwanese culture.
In this collaboration with the creator "turtledrawturtle", the characters Ming and Tao transform into time travelers, appearing in various corners of the old street. They will lead everyone to relive five classic vintage Taiwanese games, weaving together a heartwarming corridor of time. We welcome you to follow in the footsteps of Ming and Tao, and rediscover the purest moments of joy amidst the nostalgic street scenery.
About "Textbook Goes Koo-Koo!”
Originally a sticker series created by the artist "turtledrawturtle," which later developed into illustrated stories and webcomics on social media. Inspired by Taiwanese elementary school textbooks, featuring two elementary school students, Zhi-Ming and Chun-Tao (kind of like the "John and Mary"), as the main characters. Combining retro Mandarin phonetic symbols (Bopomofo) with distinctly Taiwanese cultural elements, it hilariously explores the complexities of the adult world through the innocent yet cynical eyes of children.
