The Alleyway Corner Store: A Museum of Everyday Life

This exhibition is jointly presented by Muzi Art and EVERRICH, and is inspired by the neighborhood corner store, once the emotional heart and social hub of Taiwan's traditional neighborhoods. Through a dual presentation of historical everyday artifacts and contemporary cultural design products, the exhibition celebrates two enduring aspects of Taiwanese life: the spirit of cherishing and making the most of every object, and the social culture that flourished around the neighborhood corner store. Together, they recreate a museum of everyday life filled with warmth, memory, and human connection.

Drawing inspiration from a treasure chest of memories, Muzi Art transforms old brickwork from Taiwan's historic streets, childhood pogs, and iconic vintage local brands into contemporary lifestyle objects. Through Taiwanese retro aesthetics, the brand bridges generations, allowing cherished memories of the past to resonate with fresh admiration from today's audiences. Each creation carries the memory of this land, enriching everyday objects with stories and sentiment. While modern manufacturing often values speed and technological precision, Muzi Art remains devoted to preserving Taiwan's cultural roots. By collaborating with traditional local workshops, the brand preserves the rich texture of screen-printed inks and the lingering warmth of embossing presses, capturing the authentic touch of craftsmanship while breathing new life into traditional industries.
