De: Tea Within a Vessel

This exhibition centers on tea culture, beginning with the journey of tea leaves from cultivation and production, and extending to the craftsmanship of teaware and the art of tea tasting. It presents the diverse expressions of Taiwanese tea culture. Through collaborations with Lohas Pottery and Yoshan Tea, the exhibition showcases the process of teaware creation from design to final form, and traces how tea travels from Taiwan’s mountain regions into the lives of millions. Visitors are invited, cup by cup, to rediscover an industry that has made Taiwan an important player on the international stage since the Qing dynasty.
