2026 Taoyuan Artists Airport Exhibition
2026.04.14 - 2026.07.30

The Taoyuan Artists Invitational Exhibition, organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taoyuan City Government, is a major long-running exhibition that continues to strengthen the city’s artistic presence. The exhibition is presented in two stages. From March 20 to April 12, it will be on view throughout the Department of Cultural Affairs. From April 16 to July 30, the same 27 works, including 6 ink paintings, 5 Eastern gouache paintings, 10 calligraphy pieces, and 6 seal and porcelain engravings, will be exhibited at Taoyuan International Airport, Terminal 1, in Corridor Area A and the A9 and B7 Cultural and Arts Galleries. Through traditional Eastern media, these works bring a poetic atmosphere to the airport space.
The exhibition brings together the mist-laden imagery of ink painting, the expressive rhythm of calligraphy, the interplay of light and color in Eastern gouache, and the meditative precision of seal and porcelain engraving. It showcases how artists rooted in Taoyuan draw inspiration from their local surroundings, respond to the city’s evolving transformation, and convey a confident sense of local culture through an international perspective. In doing so, the exhibition enhances the aesthetic function of public space and shapes the humanistic landscape embodied within an international aviation hub.
