2025 Chi Po-lin Aerial Photography Awards – Special Exhibition

2025.11.05 - 2026.02.05

Since its founding in 2024, the Chi Po-lin Aerial Photography Awards has aimed to inspire love and respect for Taiwan’s land and to encourage photographers to document the island’s ever-changing natural and cultural landscape through their lenses. Jointly curated by the EVERRICH Foundation and the Chi Po-lin Foundation, this exhibition extends the spirit of the awards – using the power of imagery to share Taiwan’s breathtaking beauty and enduring resilience with travelers from around the world, sparking deeper reflection on our connection to the earth.

Chi Po-lin Foundation

For 25 years, Director Chi Po-lin soared above Taiwan’s mountains and coasts, capturing both their grandeur and sorrow. He once said, “Only by truthfully recording what happens to this land can we truly understand the bond between people and the environment.” That belief continues to take flight even after his passing, through the Chi Po-lin Foundation, which carries forward his mission of seeing and safeguarding Taiwan.

Since 2018, the Foundation has held over 400 screenings, exhibitions, and guided tours, welcoming more than 100,000 visitors to the “Chi Po-lin Museum.” Its ongoing initiatives – “Digital Archive,” “Environmental Education,” “In Search of the Next Chi Po-lin,” “Chi Po-lin Museum,” and “Aerial Projects” – extend his legacy skyward. In 2024, the Foundation received the National Environmental Education Award (國家環境教育獎) – not as an endpoint, but as the beginning of a new journey.
