Deepening Public Welfare Efforts from Workplace to Home: EVERRICH Leadership Leads Company-Wide Volunteer Initiative to Deliver Warmth in Winter
2026.01.25 - 2026.01.25

From business operations to community outreach practices, EVERRICH Duty Free Shop has long been committed to charitable initiatives, guided in its altruistic spirit of “public service is its aspiration and public welfare its mission.” Today (Jan. 25), Chairman Simon Chiang and General Manager Kevin Chiang called on employees to participate in a winter charity campaign ahead of the Lunar New Year, incorporating care for vulnerable communities into the company’s corporate culture. Just as EVERRICH provides uninterrupted service to travelers year-round at the nation’s gateway, its commitment to compassion and social responsibility remains steadfast even during festive seasons. Through concrete action, the company continues to demonstrate its corporate influence and inject positive energy into society.

Fulfilling Corporate Responsibility Across the Nation, with Leadership Setting the Example
Each year, EVERRICH Chairman Simon Chiang leads by example, guiding employees to devote their days off to public welfare initiatives. According to statistics, EVERRICH organized a total of 587 volunteer activities in 2025, with a cumulative participation of 11,581 individuals. These initiatives covered a wide range of efforts, including support for disadvantaged groups, companionship programs at social welfare institutions, and environmental cleanup projects. From relief efforts following the Typhoon Danas disaster in Tainan to flood recovery work in Guangfu Township, Hualien, EVERRICH employees have demonstrated their commitment to corporate social responsibility in communities across the nation.

From Business Operations to Public Welfare, Compassion Never Takes a Break: EVERRICH Leadership Leads by Example to Embed Giving in Corporate Culture
EVERRICH mobilized nearly 40 employees today to participate in volunteer activities at multiple locations across Taoyuan City. These initiatives included visiting underprivileged families in the Dayuan District, donating daily necessities, and personally delivering warm wishes. Since 2008, EVERRICH has continuously supported the “Chensenmei Social Welfare Foundation,” which has long provided professional care and services to more than 100 individuals with intellectual disabilities aged 18 to 75. Volunteers accompanied residents in activities such as cherry blossom viewing, ceramic handicrafts, and making Dragon Boat Festival sachets, fostering their physical and emotional well-being through diverse interactive programs. On this occasion, Chairman Simon Chiang, affectionately known as “Grandpa Chiang,” not only sang and danced with the residents but also joined them in an early reunion-style meal to celebrate the festive season. The atmosphere was warm and harmonious, marked by heartfelt interaction and shared joy.

In addition, since 2010, EVERRICH has extended long-term support to the “Reindeer Children’s Home,” which currently provides care to 44 children and adolescents aged 0 to 18. Over the years, volunteers have regularly organized outdoor visits for the residents and accompanied them in growing and building close bonds through various festive activities. Today, General Manager Kevin Chiang led a team of senior executives to meet the children. In addition to arranging a visit to a farm to experience agricultural technology, “Grandpa Chiang” also joined the children in making festive pom-pom photo frames for the Lunar New Year, welcoming the new year together amid laughter and joy.

Teaching Children the Values of Love and Giving Through Action: Employees Join Volunteer Efforts with Their Children
Notably, many EVERRICH volunteers took part in the program together with their children. Yi-Fan Kuo, a sales associate with 25 years of service, participated alongside her fourth-grade daughter, teaching her child the importance of care, sharing, and giving. Hsiang-Fen Lin, a perfume and cosmetics sales associate with 26 years of service, also brought her eighth-grade and sixth-grade sons to join the volunteer activities. She shared that participating in volunteer service not only strengthens parent-child relationships, but also helps children understand the value of helping others from an early age, leaving them with meaningful and positive memories of growing up.

“Companies are not solely focused on operational performance. In addition to serving travelers, EVERRICH also serves society, because helping others is, in essence, helping ourselves,” said Chairman Simon Chiang. Upholding its core corporate values of “integrity, professionalism, innovation, and public welfare,” EVERRICH has cultivated a company-wide volunteer culture that begins in the workplace and extends into employees’ families. Seeing employees take the initiative to participate in service activities and even invite relatives and friends to join is the strongest affirmation of the company’s volunteer culture. EVERRICH will continue to embrace the spirit of “altruism” by supporting and assisting those in need.
