2025.11.12 - 2025.11.17
The local revitalization exhibition and sustainability exchange event (地方創生展覽暨永續交流會), “Connecting the World Beyond Borders,” featuring 15 outstanding Taiwanese brands, was officially held today (11/13) at the EVERRICH Taipei Downtown Store, Neihu. The EVERRICH Duty Free Shop joined 15 Taiwanese brands to present a multisensory exhibition, inviting both international and local brands for dialogue and exchange, aligning its efforts with United Nations SDGs 8 (Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all) and SDGs 12 (Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.)

EVERRICH has long promoted Taiwan through diverse initiatives at the national gateway dedicated to introducing Taiwanese brands and culture to international travelers so they can experience the island’s creativity and cultural depth. It serves as “a bridge between local brands and the world.” At the same time, it continually promotes Taiwanese specialty products, increasing the visibility of local brands at the airport and offering travelers a unique window into Taiwan’s culture.
Marking its 30th anniversary this year, EVERRICH is deepening its commitment to sustainability through concrete actions. It organized 13 local revitalization activities, arranging for front-line sales staff to visit brand sites, explore fields and communities, and experience the values and stories behind each brand and product. These genuine connections to the land manifest as professionalism and warmth within our airport services. Through integrated actions ranging from staff participation and exhibiting results to resource investment, the company advances SDGs 8 and 12, linking suppliers and consumers while amplifying our sustainable impact.

This year’s exhibition, themed “Connecting the World Beyond Borders,” brings together 15 brands from across Taiwan, including Story Wear, Spring Day, Yuan, Owen Ceramics (歐文瓷), Jean Cultural & Creative, Chef Clean, DuaHo-Rice, cha tzu tang, Gimgoanheng, Jola, Jiu Zhen Nan, Pineapple Town, Blueseeds, Yoshantea, and Hsieh Jiang Lin Tea. Spanning north to south, mountain to sea, it highlights how Taiwan’s industries balance tradition and innovation, and environment and culture. The exhibition space features handcrafted art paper from Goang Xing Paper Mill in Puli, Nantou, shaped in waves to symbolize the rhythm of Taiwan’s mountains and seas. Incorporating recycled materials such as Pingxi Sky Lantern paper, firecracker scraps, and herbal residues, the paper is a sustainable medium that carries the memory of traditional craftsmanship and industrial heritage, reflecting EVERRICH’s dedication to sustainability and cultural preservation.

EVERRICH General Manager Chien-ting Chiang remarked, “A business should not only build a brand but also become a bridge connecting the land with the world. Travelers do not simply purchase goods, they hope to feel Taiwan through the products.” He noted that airports should serve as a microcosm of national culture, which is why EVERRICH actively transforms public spaces into “platforms for cultural and sustainability engagement,” empowering sales staff to serve as ambassadors of Taiwanese brands and culture.
Looking ahead, EVERRICH plans to extend the “Connecting the World Beyond Borders” exhibition to airports as it continues to promote local revitalization and co-creation with brands while expanding social impact and enabling more global travelers to witness Taiwan’s sustainable beauty. Wei-fu Yang, Chairman of Taoyuan International Airport Corporation Ltd., stated, “EVERRICH has long contributed to sustainable development in many forms, making airports an ideal stage for promoting Taiwan’s culture. Seeing these brands, filled with stories of the land and artisanal spirit, enter the national gateway is truly moving. Taoyuan International Airport will continue collaborating with its alliance partners to strengthen the airport’s global competitiveness.”
During the sustainability exchange session, EVERRICH joined representatives from international spirits groups, such as Diageo and cha tzu tang, to discuss how companies can implement sustainability through brand culture, product innovation, and social action. EVERRICH emphasized its commitment to using airports as key platforms for cultural and sustainability promotion, working with suppliers and partners to advance sustainability through concrete initiatives and allowing travelers to get a sense of Taiwan’s cultural richness and personal warmth the moment they enter the country.

The “Connecting the World Beyond Borders” exhibition ran from November 12 to 16 on the fifth floor of the EVERRICH Taipei Downtown Store, Neihu. The special “Five Color Island Imprint Card (五色島嶼同行套印紀念卡)” experience invited visitors to personally stamped their memories of Taiwan’s mountains and seas. Guests who completed the interactive quiz received a limited edition “Chinese Character Flip Art Tote Set (漢字翻轉藝術購物袋組),” created in collaboration with Taiwanese artists. The exhibition also featured workshops on specialty coffee and terrarium making, inviting the public to experience the creativity and sustainable spirit of local artisans firsthand.
